What Counts as a Travel MCP?

This directory includes a server when it meets at least one of these tests:

  1. It has a provider-published MCP endpoint or MCP integration page; or
  2. It has a public, maintained repository that implements MCP and is clearly travel-focused; or
  3. It is listed in a public MCP marketplace with enough documentation to identify its provider, transport and travel capabilities.

It excludes generic travel APIs that do not expose MCP, MCP directories without a provider/server behind them, and projects that only generate itineraries from static or mock data unless they are useful as a demonstrable travel MCP.

Important: “MCP available” does not automatically mean “bookable.” Some servers search and recommend only; others create booking links; a smaller set can complete a booking or initiate payment. Treat credentials, commercial access, inventory coverage, rate terms, cancellation rules and transaction permissions as separate diligence items.

Sources and Methodology

The directory was compiled from provider documentation and repositories, then cross-checked against public MCP ecosystem listings and a travel-MCP landscape review. Provider documentation takes precedence over marketplace descriptions. Marketplace-only entries cite the listing, so provider claims should be re-verified against the provider’s own documentation.
